LiberoAssurance Celebrates World Accreditation Day

June 9th 2021 marks World Accreditation Day. WOAD is an annual celebration, a global initiative established by ILAC and IAF to raise awareness for the value of accreditation.

Accreditation displays a business’s compliance to a management standard that is providing conformation and quality assurance to customers and stakeholders. Being accredited increases transparency, safety, and value on the service or the product a business is offering to the market. This capability is assessed by accreditation bodies on the basis of international standards and requirements. World Accreditation Day is granting the opportunity to explore how accreditation can make a safer world.

The theme of World Accreditation Day 2021 will be
Accreditation: Supporting the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), its worlds determination, a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. The pillar of the SDGs addresses the protection of the natural world. SDGs established by the United Nations (UN) as part of their 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development.
